The event will feature informative presentations on the history and importance of White Cane Day\, personal stories from white cane users. \n\nParticipants will learn about the history and significance of the white cane and white cane day.\nParticipants will learn about the types of white canes including low- and high-tech options.\nParticipants will learn the benefits of using a white cane.\n\n\nAbout the Presenter\n\n\n\nAmanda Stolz\, COMS/TVI\nAmanda Stolz is the Chief Programs Officer of Adult Services at the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired South Carolina. She has been a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist and Certified Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments for 15 years. \n\n\n\n\nAccommodations\nCART captioning is provided for all SCATP webinars.
